1. THE HYALURONIC ACID
used by Scientech Swiss to create fillers
can be considered to be one of the purest currently existing on the market

Highly sophisticated technology and manufacturing process permit Scientech Swiss to gain a very advanced, complete and pure Hyaluronic Acid (HA) with the parameters specially “tailored” for the company needs

The HA produced by Scientech Swiss demonstrates:

  • No metal ions (0 ppm)
  • Total purity from proteins and DNA residuals (< 0.1%)
  • Insignificant presence of endotoxins (< 0.05 IU/mg)

All these permit to create a safe and pure product and minimize the risk of any complication possibly occurring while using it

2. Using PEG as A CROSS-LINKER

HA should be crosslinked via various physical and chemical crosslinking methods to ensure a longer residence time with mechanical strength in the body. Particularly, the introduction of chemical cross- linking can generate a 3-D hydrogel network containing a large amount of water, and the resultant stable hydrogel, retains a higher resistance to enzymatic degradation and molar mass reduction, compared to native HA. In general, HA can be chemically crosslinked using crosslinking re- agents such as BDDE.

Scientech Swiss proved that using a Poly Ethylene Glycol (PEG) to make a cross-link of the chains creates better results in terms of mechanical performances, flexibility, elasticity and safety compared to those demonstrated with BDDE monomer

Thanks to PEG polymer the cluster in fillers produced by Scientech Swiss appear to be bigger (up to 3 time compared to the average filler) which allows microphages to enter the polymer structure easily and to act there. This eliminate risk of granulomas development and, therefore, the polymer results to be more safe.

The technical data sheet reported in the official documents showed that from biological point of view (LD-50) using PEG as a cross-linker is 30 times safer than the BDDE.

3. REAL IPN (INTERPENETRATING POLYMER NETWORK) – TECHNOLOGY of polymerization

The most important and relevant improvement of the fillers produced by Scientech Swiss is gained due to the use of IPN (Interpenetrating Polymer Network) – technology
IPN – technology is an interpenetrating network of the PEG chains among the HA chains, that permits to improve a polymer using another polymer, WITHOUT establish any kind of blending (nor physical, nor chemical). The polymers could be separated just due to the break of their own blends.

The IPN technology permits to obtain a single polymer with two different kind of chains.
Using this technology in producing the fillers makes it possible to improve the weak points of the HA (such as thermolability, poor elasticity, fast degradability etc.) thanks to those being strong in PEG

4. CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITE for biostimulating effect

The process of aging is depriving the skin of collagen which eventually results in appearance of the wrinkles

Scientech Swiss introduces the fillers where 3D action of the hyaluronic acid is combined with the biostimulating effect of the Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHa)

CaHa is a naturally occurring mineral, well-known as the main compositional material of the human bones and dental enamel
Composites of hydroxyapatite are widely employed in biomedical applications due to their biocompatibility and bioactivity
The biocompatibility of CaHa has been extensively studied and tested, and the results have proven it to be non-toxic and non-mutagenic. Implants with CaHa (like Hyaline, Subtil-base) are characterized by minimal inflammatory response with no foreign body reaction, without any local or general toxicity
The concept of using CaHa in fillers is not new for the market of aesthetic medicine, although Scientech Swiss products are quite different from the other fillers with CaHa currently existing mainly due to the following:

  • The size of the CaHa microspheres (up to 10 μ) as well as optimal concentration (1% in Hyaline line and 0.1% in Subtil-base) can guarantee good results and eliminate any risk of complications, which can occur while using the fillers with CaHa
  • Slow release of the CaHa microspheres during the degradation of the HA stimulates the process of collagen production, which strengthening and prolonging the effect of the use of the filler
